Tricks to help you get rid of your depression without medication

Published by trixxie at 2:43 pm under 1 Edit This

For some of us depression is an on-going thing that we live with daily. For others we experience episodes of depression from time to time. This is when you are feeling a little out of sorts or just down in the dumps. For these episodes you don’t need medication and you can jiggle yourself out of your depression with a few tricks.

Tip #1: Do something for yourself

So many people get caught up in doing so many other things for other people they forget about themselves. Take time to do something just for you. Maybe you want to get your hair done or go to the golfing range, do it! Think about you first, it’s good for you sometimes.

Tip #2: Get out of the house

For some of us depression stems from simply being in the same surroundings day after day. If this is the case for you get out and do something. Even just a simple walk around the block can clear your head and make you feel better.

Tip #3: Are you getting enough sleep?

Some people are effected with depression simply because they are not getting enough sleep at night. Try heading to bed even just 15-30 minutes earlier than usual. This could make a world of difference in your mood.

    great advice!
I’d also suggest eating some feel good foods as food does impact your mood and get together with people who are fun and make you happy. laughter can be fantastic medicine so a good comedy can turn your frown upside down too even if just for a bit.

    Cheers!
