How Can My Depression Affect My Family?
When depression hits on person in a family unit it, this depression can affect everyone within the family. Over time depression can cause the family unit to break down.
When a family member is affected by depression they will likely withdraw from the family and any will fail to attend any events. This withdrawal from the family can cause distance between family members and cause stress on the family as a unit.
Family members can be affected by stress for a variety of different reasons such as stress, financial issues or several other things. In order for everyone to heal from depression counseling for the entire family might be needed to mend the affects that the depression has caused.
