How do you get use to a depression medication?
Depression treatments take some time just like the healing process that is needed to deal with the various stages of depression. Usually you start your prescribed medication at a lower dose so you can get use to that and then move on up to the level that you need at a slow rate without putting your body into shock and cause more problems that the depression you are trying to treat.
If you are taking other prescription meds, there is a chance that they will react to the antidepressants that is why when your family doctor asks if you are taking anything at the time. Tell them the truth always.
